Kris Seyen

Kris Seyen is a lawyer and software engineer, and founder of consey(.legal), a boutique law firm specialising in technology law and data protection. He holds the CIPP/E certification and is a Certified AI Compliance Officer (CAICO). He serves as external DPO for House of HR and advises a broad range of tech companies on AI compliance, while being a clear voice in the legal debate on AI and digital transformation.

With a dual background spanning law, software engineering, and over 25 years of cross-industry experience, Kris works at the intersection of regulation and implementation. He advises organisations on data protection, AI governance, and digital compliance. Not just in theory, but in practice.

He is a regular keynote speaker at legal and technology events, co-author of a book on GDPR, and the creator of the first AI-generated legal podcast series.
