Hands on Session: AI Recruitment Hacks
Less hassle, more human: AI agents and assistants in recruitment
The future of workforce management: digital or human?
Your recruitment AI is high-risk. Your vendor may not have told you that.
The EU AI Act classifies AI used in hiring and HR decisions as high-risk. That means mandatory transparency, human oversight, and explainability obligations, for the tools you are already using today. Most vendors have been quiet about this.
GDPR Article 22 gives candidates the right not to be subject to purely automated decisions. The uncomfortable question is whether the human in your process is actually making a decision, or just approving what the algorithm already decided.
This session is not a compliance lecture. It is an honest conversation about where the legal lines are, why they exist, and what genuinely compliant AI-assisted recruitment looks like in practice. Spoiler: it is more achievable than you think, but it requires asking better questions of your vendors.

N8N & AI Agents: Fully Automating Recruitment
In this hands on session, Nick will demonstrate how companies can use n8n and AI agents to automate their entire recruitment workflow. From detecting new job openings and automatically sourcing candidates to AI driven screening, outreach, and follow up workflows, attendees will discover how modern AI systems can dramatically increase the efficiency of recruitment teams.
The session focuses on practical use cases, real world architectures, and live examples of AI agents already running in production environments. Expect a highly actionable session with concrete workflows and automation strategies rather than a theoretical AI keynote.
From Applicants to Agents: The Autonomous Talent Market
VONQ’s CEO Ritu Mohanka and CTO Bill Fischer explore how AI agents are transforming the hiring ecosystem. As candidates increasingly use AI to discover and apply for jobs, a new model is emerging: agent-to-agent hiring – where candidate agents search, evaluate, and apply for roles autonomously, while recruiter agents screen, assess, and progress candidates in real time.
Through real-world insights and a live demonstration, this session is designed to give HR leaders a clear view of where recruitment is heading and what steps they need to take to prepare for an increasingly automated, agent-driven talent market.
HR Tech Stage by Federgon – Part 1
The Federgon Stage is hosted by Federgon, the Belgian sector federation for HR services.
In just one hour, you will discover 10 innovative HR tech companies, each giving a short introduction to who they are and what they do. It’s a fast-paced session designed to give you a clear overview of the latest innovations in HR technology.
Afterwards, you’ll be fully up to speed.
Human First, Tech Enabled. The future of recruitment belongs to recruiters who become more human, not less.
AI agents are taking over more recruitment tasks. But which tasks should they take over, and where should humans stay firmly in control? In this keynote, David Engelen explores how AI changes recruiter value. As execution becomes cheaper, the most valuable recruiters will not be the ones who simply do more. They will be the ones who know where human judgment, trust, empathy, storytelling and commercial intelligence matter most. This session shows how recruitment teams can move from tool adoption to real workflow redesign, and why the future of recruitment is not less human, but more human.

AI Screening in Recruitment: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Everyone has seen the AI demos by now. The real question: what actually survives the first month in production? With over 100,000 conversations behind us, we’ll share unfiltered, real-world stories from conversational AI in sourcing and screening: the wins, the misses and the ugly truths. An honest reality check on what works, what doesn’t and where you’re better off (not yet) automating.
How AI Is Already Changing Jobs and Careers
This session explores how seemingly small, practical AI tools can have a disproportionate impact on specific jobs, tasks, and career paths. Rather than offering a theoretical overview, this session is built around live demonstrations of concrete tools, showing how everyday copilots, generative systems, and decision-support applications are already changing the way work gets done.
The presentation deliberately goes beyond abstract predictions. Through a series of live demos, it illustrates how AI tools can eliminate tasks in one role, dramatically increase productivity in another, or make entire jobs redundant.
Alongside these demonstrations, the session places what we are seeing in practice today within both the utopian and dystopian narratives surrounding AI and employment. It draws on recent academic insights to do so. The result is a well-founded and engaging perspective on how AI is truly reshaping careers, not in the future, but today.

Your next hire’s AI agent is searching right now — does it find you?
Intelligent agents are transforming how candidates discover jobs, they don’t just Google anymore, they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI, or let agents search on their behalf. If your recruitment brand doesn’t appear in those AI-generated answers, you’re invisible to a growing share of your target talent.
In this masterclass, Gilles Praet (CEO, Visiblie) breaks down the mechanics of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) for HR brands: what determines whether your vacancies and employer brand show up in AI answers, how to measure your current AI visibility across models, and the concrete steps to improve it; with a live demo using real recruitment brands.
